This Vivienne Westwood Aeroplane skirt in the iconic Louth Tartan was generously donated by German author, presenter and podcaster Sophie Passmann. Recalling the house’s celebrated Autumn/Winter 2001 “Wild Beauty” collection, the skirt has a high-rise silhouette, an asymmetrical hem, and softly draped folds that create movement and volume. The bold tartan pattern and sculptural construction reflect Westwood’s distinctive approach to tailoring, combining heritage influences with a contemporary aesthetic.
Sophie wore this skirt during select performances of "Pick Me Girls" at the Berliner Ensemble. This stage adaptation of her best-selling book marked her theater debut, and it will be released in German cinemas on June 24, 2026.
